94-Year-Old Man With More Than 100 Children Marries 4 New Women
A 94-year-old Ugandan man with over 100 children, has decided to add four more wives to the list of his 19 spouses.
Nulu Ssemakula of Ruyonza, one of the most polygamous villages in Uganda, said the decision was consistent with his desire to have a large family, which he says is a wealth.
In an interview with the Ugandan daily Daily Monitor, the nonagenarian said it was not the end, as he still plans to marry more women if he lives longer.
“Unfortunately, I lost four of my women, while others, who needed more than I could afford, i let them go. But they left me with children. I will still marry more if I have more years and even more children. In children and wives, that’s where I find my pleasure.
“It’s my true wealth,” said Ssemakula.
Currently, the elderly man lives with 66 of his children. The youngest is 10 months old and his youngest wife, 24, is pregnant.
Ssemakula founded Kiyombero Primary School to accommodate all of his schoolchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, according to Daily Monitor.
He also operates a coffee machine and a dairy milk cooling machine that earns him an income for the maintenance of his large family.
“We may be wives, but we love each other and treat each other like sisters. This harmony in our marriage comes from our husband, whom we also treat as a father.
“None of us, I think cheats on him, he is over 90, but when he touches you, he has the energy of a man of 30. He has no illness and he never complains. He gives us everything we need, “said one of Arinaitwe’s wives.
