The Nigerian Navy has announced details of its aptitude test for the Direct Short Service Course 25 Enlistment Exercise.

This was contained in a statement signed by Navy Captain Suleman Dahun, who is the acting director of information on Tuesday, November 28.

He explained that the enlistment exercise will take place in eight centres across the nation on December 2 beginning at 7.30am. The centres for the aptitude test are:

  1. Bauchi – Command Day Secondary School, Shadawanka Barracks, Bauchi;

  2. FCT 1 – Army Day Secondary School Mogadishu Cantonment, Abuja;

  3. FCT 2 – Command Day Secondary School Lungi Barracks, Abuja;

  4. Imo State – Nigerian Navy Finance and Logistics College, Owerri.

  5. Lagos 1 – Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Navy Town Ojo;

  6. Lagos 2 – Navy Town Secondary School, Navy Town Ojo;

  7. Rivers State – Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Borokiri;

  8. Sokoto State – Army Day Secondary School, Giginya Barracks, Sokoto.

Also, “candidates are expected go to the aptitude test centres with the following: parents/guardian consent form; local government attestation card; acknowledgment form; photocopies of certificates including NYSC discharge certificate; writing materials (2B pencil, eraser and sharpener only).

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre ( NAFRC ), Oshodi on Sunday, November 26, commenced a two-week entrepreneurship and management training programmes for 40 senior military officers of the general cadre, The Nation reports.

The officers comprise of 15 from the Nigerian army, 10 from the Navy, 10 from the Nigerian Air Force and 5 from NAFRC.
