Police in Maiduguri managed to save the four-year-old son of All Progressives Congress chairman kidnapped on Wednesday. Members of the Federal Anti-Theft Brigade in Maiduguri rescued Kashim Bukar-Dalori, the four-year-old son of All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman Borno kidnapped on Wednesday.
“It was an exhaustive survey. The suspects, a man who retired to collect the ransom of 20 million Nepalis in Kano, was also arrested by our staff.
“The boy, who was kept at the Albarka Hotel in Maiduguri by a woman, was saved and handed over to his family.
“It was after collecting the money that our IRT staff in Kano arrested her. After his arrest, they quickly told us where the boy was kept. So we quickly mobilized our men and cordoned off the hotel in Maiduguri.
